I am pleased to announce that Lake Pointe Chiropractic of Acworth, Ga is the 1st mercury free wellness center in Acworth, GA!

Not only are we concerned about the well being of our planet, but first and foremost, the well being of our patients. I bet some of you don’t even know what I am talking about right now….that you didn’t know there was mercury in the lightbulbs that you use in your homes every day. And, mercury is toxic. Did you know if you break a light bulb, you are not supposed to just pick it up and put it in the garbage? If you do this, the mercury gets into our landfills and seeps into our earth and makes us all sick!

What I can tell you is that my office is significantly cooler since I made the switch to these amazing light bulbs. I can touch a light bulb that has been on for 12 hours in my house and they are still cool to the touch, unlike traditional lightbulbs which will burn your hands if you touch them after being on for 20 minutes.

I am also seeing a huge decrease in my electric bill, which will make up for the cost of the light bulbs in 2 months. I love my new and improved mercury free office and I know you will too!

We purchased a pair of 5 watt LED lights to replace our 60 watt each bedroom lights and a pair of 7 watt to replace our 75 watt each lights in the living room.  We have been very happy with the change!  The lights are bright and very easy to read by.  My eyes used to get tired from the incandescent bulbs and the room was a pale yellow light.

The LED lights are a nice bright white light, and use very little energy.  We have seen a savings on our electric bill each month as these are the two rooms where our lights are on the most!
